I’m having lot of fun turning the glass bottles into pretty decors lately. So here’s another glass bottle decor DIY which is super easy and all you need is just a couple of material.

Material Required: IMG_20150727_142047341_Fotor

  • Glass Bottle
  • CD
  • Scissors
  • Strong Glue
  • Acrylic Paint to color the bottle (If required)

1. Clean and dry the glass bottle.

2. Coloring the bottle:    Take the acrylic paint in a disposable container, add some glue and water to it and mix it. Make sure it’s not too watery, it should be of thick and running consistency. Now pour the paint into your bottle and swirl your bottle so that the color spreads and covers all the surface inside the bottle. Let it dry for an hour and then leave it upside down for an hour so that all the excess paint drains out. IMG_20150727_142643985_Fotor_Fotor_Collage

If you bottle is already colored you may not do it but I colored mine even though it was green tinted bottle as I wanted the color to be more solid and not transparent.

3. Take your scissors and cut the CD into small pieces big pieces will be difficult to paste on bottle.IMG_20150727_145510159_HDR (1)_Fotor_Fotor_Collage

4. Now stick the small pieces of CD to the bottle using hot glue or any other strong glue on the body of bottle and some pieces on the neck of the bottle.IMG_20150727_152438269_Fotor

5. Leave it to dry for an hour. And there the Glass Bottle Decor is ready!

What type of CD is required ?

    • Raisa

Any kind of CD can be used. All you need is the shiny part to faced up on the bottle. It would be good to recycle an old CD which is not in use anymore so you don’t need to spend any money.
